I researched, designed, and produced a book that examines typography as a method to express form, give meaning, and present information within the context of craft beer labels.

I worked one-on-one with my client through multiple renditions to produce a “Habaneros” vodka brand and label. The inspiration began with old western film posters, and after target market research, moved into a more feminine feel with the use of a script font. The bold gold and red color scheme is a nod to the kick this drink carries. The client is currently working on distribution of the product to retailers. I managed this project from start to finish, collaborating with bottle and label vendors.
Freelance
For this class project, I chose honeybees as a subject matter of interest and conducted research to determine the opportunities to develop two distinct forms of data visualization: journalistic and artistic. The first part focused on a journalistic representation while the second part focused on an artistic representation.

My responsibilities for ESC included managing all print and digital materials, overseeing brand standards for the company’s five national offices, and coordinating with outside vendors to ensure brand consistency. Additionally, I worked with the marketing team to produce tradeshow booths and related materials. These examples offer an overview of the brand that I managed for four years.

MOW is an internationally recognized nonprofit, but in the Greenville, SC area, they required help making their message heard. They knew they could find more donors—and, more importantly, more clients in need of their services. I created a van wrap that popped with a bright color palette and a simple message, “Delivering Hope to Our Community.” MOW used the wrap on all their meal delivery vehicles, which gave greater visibility to MOW throughout the community. I also created an informational client packet and business card for potential volunteers of the organization.

For this project, I investigated typography as form, meaning, and information. The goal was to research and develop a set of five pictograms or ideograms. The images needed to communicate independently and as a cohesive set. I mocked up the final icons as organic fruit bars in order to give them context.

I developed a unique mini booklet used as a sales piece for potential clients of interior designer, Paul Johnson. The layout showcases remodels his company had recently completed. I managed the product through print and produced additional physical mailer materials.

I created a poster set that was intended to advertise and inform church attendees of an upcoming sermon series, called Kingdomnomics. Each sermon/poster had a verse from the bible that the pastor wanted to incorporate. I pulled ideas for imagery from those versus. I worked closely with Showcase's client lead to produce something that the church was happy with.
